Well since turtle beach isn't carrying replacement parts for the x4 anymore with the x41 coming out. I guess I have to buy a new headset.
It sounds like the obvious best would be the Astros A40 but I did recently see that Best buy is carrying the Tritton AX pro which means I may can get it through Jiggy for like $100-120 because they are like $160... any suggestions?
Anyone have AXPRos?

The x4 replacement parts are here... www.turtlebeach.com/products/efx4a/replacementparts.aspxIf you really want a new headset you have 4 choices that most people have... Astro a40'sI have these and love them. Sound whoring is good. If you take care of them they will treat you good. Customer support is very good. If your headset needs fixed its free to send them in. They are comfy and it only 4 wires. 2 are in the back so you never see those. The only downside to these is the price which is around $300 after shipping and an optical cable. Tritton AXProIve never used these or seen them. So I cant say much. They look comfy though. They are only like $150. There are alot of cords with these. That really turned me off on them. 2 power cords. Like wtf. My astros have zero power cords. Just a USB. Turtle Beach HPXI never used these either. If you get these you have to buy the astro mixamp which is $150. So why not just buy the a40's? Turtle Beach X41I never used these but you cant get the same sound quality through wireless. There is no way. A wired headset like astros or tirttons will sound way better then these. When I was buying a new headset I looked at the trittons. I was very close to ordering them. Then I started thinking. If im going to spend $170 on a headset why not just spend a little extra and get the "best" one out there. If I didnt buy the a40's I would always be wondering what do they sound like? How good are they? I had to try them. Astro gives you a 15 day or something try period. So if you don't like them you can send them back for a full refund.
